  14. Can someone tell me what Win95's dial-up stuff needs to see from the
  15. modem in order to report "Connected at <carrier speed>" instead of
  16. "Connected at <port speed>"?

  18. I have set my modem to report carrier as "CONNECT 28800" and I can see
  19. from modemlog.txt that it does this, but Win95 then says it can't
  20. understand it, "retrying", and then the next line reports "Connected
  21. at 115200 bps."

  23. Or, if there's another way to check what carrier speed I'm at while
  24. online, that would be good to know.
